The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies, organized on October 15, 2018, a seminar devoted to the discussion of the preliminary findings of the study on African migration. The seminar was attended by representatives of international organizations, public and private actors and academic experts.

This study allows to identify intra-African and African migration dynamics as well as the dynamics of African migration to other region of the world, mainly Europe, to highlight the migration strategies and policies implemented in African countries by subregional groupings and at the continental level, to propose substantive responses to the question of migration in Africa and to examine the impact on Morocco in the perspective of its accession to ECOWAS.

The debates resulted in proposals for innovative ideas that would allow to resolving the impact of this complex issue.
