On an official visit to Morocco as part of her first tour of Africa, Ms. Nadine GIRAULT, Minister of International Relations and la Francophonie, was received, on June 21, 2019, at the IRES by its Director General, Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE.

She was accompanied by a delegation composed of Messrs. Bill CRIMMON, Alain OLIVIER and Guillaume François LAROUCHE, respectively, Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Canada in Rabat, Director of the Quebec Office in Rabat and Political Adviser.

During this meeting, the discussions focused on the future of Africa, the new perspective on the continent, the African vision of Morocco and Quebec and the type of relations to be developed jointly in the context of a win-win partnership with Africa, which plays an important role in the Francophonie.
The exchanges then concerned the Moroccans of the world and the contribution that the Moroccan community residing in Quebec could make to the development of Morocco.
